Minted Inspiration - Birth Announcement

Although I am not quite ready to have a baby, I sure do enjoy looking at nursery designs and cute little onesies. Minted has some really adorable and fun birth announcements, really inspirational for my own birth announcement designs.

They are also holding another inspiration board contest, and I do love putting boards together :) Here is what I came up with.

Fireflies - Wedding Inspiration

I absolutely adore Minted. I love the fact that you can submit your own artwork, and all the while you can look at artwork others have created and purchase cards, prints, etc.

They are now running a board contest in which you create a wedding inspiration board and post to your blog/website. Since I am in love with scouring wedding photography websites and would give anything to get paid to do so all day, I have created my own board. If I ever had another wedding, these elements would definitely be included.

Wedding Bliss

My dear friend Krystle is getting married this Halloween...in Vegas!! Cannot wait to celebrate her marriage and party like rock stars in costume. Still trying to concoct the perfect costume.

I was honored when she asked me to design her wedding invitation. An excuse to use my creativity designing something I love? Yes please! 

Here is the design I came up with.

Sweet 16

I've only submitted one design (so far) for a Minted challenge a while back. It was a 'Coming of Age' challenge, and you had to create an invitation for a Sweet 16 party.

Here is what I came up with. Although it didn't get any attention (or any votes!), I was really pleased with how it turned out and I really like it. Maybe I'll use it one day for my little girl's sweet 16 (a. if I have kids and b. if I have a girl).

Better Late Than Never!

I haven't posted anything in a long time, and I think it's because my creativity has been stretched pretty thin. I really need to get a job that requires less man hours on Adobe Creative Suite so I can save that for side projects that I love to do.

Although it's been 7 months since Rich and Emily's wedding, I figured I should still post the items I designed for them. So here are the invitation, RSVP card and insert card...enjoy!

Button Rings, the next installment

Here are some more button rings I did recently.
These turned out a little differently than my previous rings...a bit more sophisticated with a more neutral color palette.
The one on the far left has been designated as my MSU ring ;)

Save the Date for Em

I recently created a save the date for my friends Emily and Rich who are getting married this August at a winery in Michigan. I love this style...kind of vintage with a slightly modern twist. I am also creating their wedding invitations, and I can't wait to get started!
